Open Facebook in Chrome, then click the FollowerSpotter icon in your toolbar to open the panel. If you don't see the icon, click the puzzle piece and pin it.
The three tools
Install
FollowerSpotter for Facebook is coming soon to the Chrome Web Store. It's a separate extension from FollowerSpotter for Instagram and Mass Unfollow for TikTok, so you can install any one of them or all three. Once installed, open facebook.com in Chrome and click the FollowerSpotter icon. You never enter your Facebook password into the extension.
Who doesn't follow you back
- In the panel, open the FollowerSpotter tab.
- Press Open next to Followers, then Scan. Do the same for Friends and Following. The order doesn't matter, and each scan is saved.
- See how many people you follow, how many follow you back, your friends, and who doesn't follow back. Search the list, export it as CSV, or select people and send them to Mass Unfollow in one click.
Facebook usually leaves friends out of your Followers list, which is why the Friends scan matters: it stops friends from being counted as non-followers. Pages you follow (brands, celebrities) can't follow anyone back, so they show up in the list too.
Mass Unfollow
- Open the MassUnfollow tab and go to your Following or Friends list.
- Press Scan, then tick the accounts you want to remove. Press Keep on anyone you never want to touch.
- On your Friends list, choose Unfollow (hide their posts, stay friends) or Unfriend (remove the friendship).
- Press Start and confirm. Keep the tab open. You can pause or stop at any time.
Mass Follow
- Go to your profile and scroll until People You May Know is on screen, or open the full suggestions list from the panel.
- Open the MassFollow tab, choose a delay and a daily limit, and press Start.
- It presses Add friend on each suggestion, then uses the arrow to load the next ones, until the list ends or your limit is reached. On Facebook, a friend request also follows that person.
Safety
- It clicks Facebook's own buttons, one account at a time, on the page you have open. It never opens other profiles in new tabs.
- It stops immediately, without answering, if Facebook shows a warning, a limit notice or a "Do you know this person?" pop-up.
- Mass Follow only ever presses Add friend or Follow. It never presses Remove, ✕ or Cancel request, and it skips anyone it already sent a request to.
- Unfriending only goes ahead when Facebook's confirmation names the friend you selected.
- Accounts on your keep list are never touched.
Facebook can temporarily block friend requests or other actions on accounts that do a lot very quickly, especially friend requests to people who don't accept them. Start with small batches and the slower delays to see how your account responds. Unfollows and unfriends can't be undone from the extension.

Using your Pro
In the Facebook extension, press Sign in at the top of the panel, enter the email you used at checkout, and type the 6-digit code we email you. There is no password. If you already have Pro from the Instagram or TikTok extension, use the same email. Each extension you sign in to counts as one signed-in device.
Good to know
- Your Facebook lists are not sent to FollowerSpotter. Scans and results stay in your browser; only the Pro sign-in and anonymous usage counts talk to our server. See the Privacy Policy below.
- Results come from the lists Facebook shows you. If Facebook hides someone, or a list doesn't fully load, they can't be included, so rescan if numbers look off.
- Facebook can change its website at any time, which can break the extension until we update it. If something goes wrong, use Copy diagnostics at the bottom of the panel and email it to support@followerspotter.com.
FollowerSpotter for Facebook — Privacy Policy

FollowerSpotter for Facebook is an independent browser extension that helps users review and manage Facebook connections.
Information processed
When you use the extension, it may process information visible on your Facebook Friends, Followers, and Following pages and in People You May Know suggestions, including profile names, profile links, and account relationships.
It also records your selected accounts, keep lists, processing preferences, action outcomes, the people it has already sent friend requests to, free-plan usage counts, and locally saved comparison snapshots.
How information is used
This information is used exclusively to provide the extension's account scanning, follower comparison, bulk unfollow, bulk unfriend, bulk friend request, and session recovery functionality.
Local storage
The extension stores its working data locally in your browser using Chrome extension storage.
The extension does not upload scanned profile lists or action histories to FollowerSpotter servers. Users may choose to export their comparison data or logs to their own devices.
To help improve the extension, it sends anonymous usage counts to FollowerSpotter's server (api.followerspotter.com): for example that it was installed or opened, that a scan or run finished and how many accounts it covered, or that a free limit was reached. These carry a random identifier created by the extension, its version and whether the plan is Free or Pro. They contain no Facebook names, profile links, email addresses or page content.
Authentication
FollowerSpotter does not request or store Facebook passwords. Users access Facebook through their existing browser session.
If you choose to sign in to FollowerSpotter Pro, the extension sends your email address, a one-time sign-in code, a randomly generated device identifier and a session token to FollowerSpotter's authentication service to verify your subscription. Payments are handled by Creem; FollowerSpotter does not receive card details.
Sharing and selling data
FollowerSpotter does not sell or transfer scanned Facebook profile information to advertisers or data brokers. Information processed by the extension is used only to provide its stated functionality.
Data retention
Locally stored extension data remains available while the extension is installed, unless cleared through supported browser or extension controls. Removing the extension generally removes its locally stored extension data. Files manually exported by users remain under their control. Anonymous usage counts are kept on FollowerSpotter's server for up to 400 days; Pro account and subscription records are kept as described in the main FollowerSpotter Privacy Policy.
Third-party services
Facebook is operated by Meta and has its own privacy practices. FollowerSpotter does not control how Facebook processes user information or the availability of its account lists.
Security
The extension limits its requested website access to Facebook and FollowerSpotter's own server (api.followerspotter.com, used only for Pro sign-in and anonymous usage counts), and does not use remote executable code.
